ILM Level 7 Certificate/ Diploma for Executive and Senior Level Coaches/Mentors

Who is the programme for?
This programme is suitable for you if you wish to coach or mentor senior leaders in any business or public sector environment, it is equally suitable for internal coaches and freelancers.
ILM says – These qualifications are for senior managers or Human Resources (HR)/Organisation Development (OD) professionals who wish to develop their expertise and credibility in the fields of Executive and Senior level coaching and mentoring, or to establish coaching at an organisational level. They are also ideal for professional coaches and mentors seeking to enhance and accredit their experience with a nationally recognised qualification. You will get the tools and confidence to coach and mentor people with additional focus on the managerial aspects and organisational dynamics.
How is the programme delivered?
Our Programme is delivered via a series of virtual sessions (ZOOM) course reading with a complimentary book, E-learning materials fully supported by tutorials and ongoing supervision until you reach the standards for final assessment.
When are the sessions?
It is important that you can attend each Zoom session dates are below, scheduled to take place 9.30-12.30 (2 mornings x 3 blocks = 6 sessions)
- Induction 20th January 2021
- Session 1 21st January 2021
- Session 2 11th February 2021
- Session 3 12th February 2021
- Session 4 4th March 2021
- Session 5 5th March 2021
Following these sessions, you will move to 1-2-1 tutorials and supervisions, we will create peer coaching partnerships as part of your development.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment requires you to write one 5000-7000 knowledge assignment and create a portfolio documenting your practical coaching/mentoring work which includes detailed reflection and supervision from a QED supervisor. You will be given guidance and support to achieve this and work is then submitted for assessment and quality assurance, QED has a very high success level for completions, so you’ll be in good hands.
What is my commitment?
You will need to make time available each week to engage in learning, you should attend all the ZOOM sessions, read the course textbook, other materials and access our E-learning resources. You will also need to identify 2-3 senior-level coachees/mentees to work with for the Certificate or 6-9 for the Diploma.
