Set YOUR Potential Free

Feedback from our most recent ILM programmes

This year has been very positive for QED’s ILM programmes. In July we completed the taught components for two large groups of at Kent County Council for the Level 5 Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring in Management. Kent Council has been a regular client for QED since 2004 however these two groups have been unique because this year the council has successfully built relationships with both the local fire and rescue service and police service.

This allegiance has produced two mixed groups of candidates who have benefitted not only from the ILM level 5 programme but from the rich experience of sharing their thoughts, ideas and strategies with both internal colleagues and external organisations.

On the final training days for both groups the delegates shared their experiences of the programme. Without exception every delegate remarked on the special bonds that had built across the organisations and how much they had appreciated the opportunity to share their experience.

During the programme we successfully ‘buddied up’ pairs of delegates to support each other. We also shared coaches/mentees across the organisations for assessment purposes. This not only enriched their learning experience but also managed to promote the benefits of coaching and mentoring to a wider audience.

Next week we start the first of our Autumn programmes at Kent County Council which will not only include delegates from the Fire and Rescue and Police services but from the local voluntary sector businesses too.

News that coaching leaders in the workplace works is spreading fast!
