Starting the new Assessor and Verifier Qualifications in 2011

QED OFFERS NEW QUALIFICATIONS FOR ASSESSORS AND VERIFIERS FROM JANUARY 2011

January 2011 sees our QED official launch of the new qualifications for Assessors and Verifiers (Quality Assurers). We are ready with materials, guidance, support and lots of energy!

The new structure is much more flexible and these qualifications have a much wider remit. We have qualifications for assessors working with vocational qualifications in the workplace (NVQ style) as well as those assessed by assignments, projects etc (VRQ style). There are qualifications that reflect the different verifier (Q/A) roles too!

Organisations with their own corporate qualifications and programmes are now accommodated so if you want to improve your in-house assessment and quality assurance now is the time to get your key people on track !

They are suitable for you if you:

• Are already qualified to A1, A2, V1 standards and want to update
• Are new to assessing or verifying and will be actively involved in working with candidates and qualifications
• Work with in-house qualifications (not in the QCF)
• Need to know about assessment or verification (perhaps you are a manger) but won’t actually be directly involved

Our approach to these new qualifications will be flexible and cost-effective – we want you to achieve the appropriate qualification so first we will help you select what you need to achieve and then we will provide you with a blended learning solution.
